Thank you so much for all your get-well wishes… they definitely boosted my morale.
I had some typical comfort fare for dinner: a sweet potato with B&B and brown sugar…
… and a mug of Chickpea Noodle Soup.
This photo is just to embarrass myself and show you how messy I am right now. I decided, for some reason, that I wanted to turn the dining room table into my workspace and not use my desk anymore. Right then!
I had some Tazo Awake tea and a small apple when I got to class.
I brought some Hazelnut Caramel Clusters and Fudgy Wudgy blueberry brownies to class tonight (and had one of each + crumbs). They were a pretty big hit, I think, but I probably should have brought more!
I’m sipping on some chamomile tea right now hoping it will make me a little sleepy. When I was in sixth grade, whenever anyone got sick, our school nurse would give out two things and two things only: Chamomile tea or coke syrup… one of those suckers will cure any illness, apparently.
Speaking of which… I have insanely dry skin pretty much year-round, but it’s particularly bad in the winter. I just discovered A+D Original Ointment REALLY helps (yes, it’s for diaper rash…). Do you have any health or beauty remedies that you swear by but, by “normal” standards, most people would think are weird?
